I had to take my hubby to the ER... We thought he was having a heart attack... His blood pressure was in the triple digit... He was admitted and several tests, blood work, ex-rays, A nuclear heart scan CT Scan... Stress test etc... His heart is OK no damage... They found a nodule on his lung plus he has gallstones.. Gallstone symptoms can mimic a heart attack... Have to see our family doctor about his results of his tests... Our Doctor was wonderful and very helpful in explaining everything The ER doctor and nurses were great and the cardiologist even terrific.. I had mentioned my husband complaining about a sharp pain under his left rib, so that made them think he was having a gallbladder attack..... Our doctor said the gallbladder will be removed as a out-patient and the nodule will have to be ex-rayed in 6 months to see if it's growing... < this scares me to death and I know hubby is worried... Our doctor really raked me across the coals about driving my husbahd 60 miles to the hospital.. He said next time if you think he's having a heart attack call 911.... In our area we don't like the hospital... It's a band-aid station...
