I listened to country music. It was Ok. But I really never got into it until Garth Brooks came a long. I went to a concert of his once. Tina McBride was the act before his concert. I said that lady is going far. That was in the mid 90's. It was the first concert I'd been to. It was the greatest entertainment especially how the stage was set up and how he performed. I thought he's a accident waiting to happen. It seemed like the more dangerous his performance was the higher he got on his self. Boy does Garth have a lot of energy. Out of respect for Garth's tickets were sold out in a few minutes. Garth had the backside of his stage opened to the public. He also added another concert for that night. He saw how so many people couldn't get in to see him so he stayed another day and performed 2 more concerts. It was really rotten weather out. We had driven in a ice storm to see him 60 miles away. I understand his own personel life wanting to lay back until his daughters are older before he makes a come back. Your children are only young once, you need your parents around while growing up. That's bonding. If you can't get hugs and support as a young child then it can be so harmful to the children years later. You just can't make it up as a part time parent. The years fly by so fast...
